Career

Ada Hegerberg was born on July 10, 1995, in Molde, Norway. She began her football career at a young age and quickly showed her talent in the sport. Hegerberg started her senior career in Norway with Kolbotn IL and later moved to Stabæk Football’s women’s team, where she had a prolific goal-scoring record. In 2014, Ada Hegerberg made a significant move to Olympique Lyonnais Feminine, a top women’s football club in France. During her time at Lyon, she achieved numerous successes, including numerous domestic league titles, Coupe de France Feminine titles, and UEFA Women’s Champions League titles. She was known for her remarkable goal-scoring ability and became one of the world’s best women’s footballers. Hegerberg also represented the Norwegian national team in various international competitions. However, she decided to step away from the national team in 2017 due to disagreements with the Norwegian Football Federation (NFF) regarding the treatment of women’s football. As of my last update in 2021, she had not returned to the national team.
